Manifesto

Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”

——————————————

Promote a freedom of speech too often overridden in the name of ideals,
Our ideal is one where information would have to know no judge.
No matter its nature, any information is potentially offensive,
Thus, one or many individuals cannot decide ideas’ destiny.
Condemning a thought on the basis that it may cause action is absurd,
Fiction does not generate action; action generates fiction,
Humans are the sole ones responsible for their actions.
Believing in freedom of speech implies believing in humanity.

We are no more partial than cynical,
We do not defend any precise opinion.
Such is true freedom of speech.
Neither limited to one group, individual, nation,
Nor to what is broadly accepted.
What is accepted today will be rejected tomorrow.
Ideas do not know time.
An open mind requires to tolerate the inadmissible.

No to censorship.
Yes to diversity.
Yes to debates.
Yes to freedom.
