Yes To Freedom’s campaigns are designed to provide alternatives of action that are less demanding than actively militating. Our philosophy is that if every person reading these lines that believes in freedom of expression sent but a single letter to the politicians of his/her country (or any country, for that matter), the situation would greatly improve, as most politicians wish to please as many people as they can; even more so if these people show any interest in politics.

Thus, we will provide letters, documentation and arguments to manifest your discontentment about flaws in the implementation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ dispositions concerning free speech.

To participate, send the letters and/or emails to the concerned people – we will provide addresses – and, most importantly, spread the word, as the success of such enterprise rests entirely on the number of participants.

Current events:

• Campaign against the current wave of bans on eroge depicting BDSM, rape and the like.

• Campaign regarding the issue of a potential new legislation that would outlaw sexual depictions of “minors” in japanese art.
